Captain Art's thought for the day - tournaments & money

Why is it that fishing tournaments & prize money bring out some of the most unethical ways of doing things imagineable? It seems that any time you add money it brings out cheating.

I believe with the advent of mobile phones & texting the problem has increased. If we can't seem to get cheating out of the event what should we do?

I'm sure most of you have heard the news that Captain Phil of the Cornelia Marie on the Deadliest Catch show has passed away. My condolences to the family. He touched a lot of people worldwide & will sadly be missed.
